For the 2023 exhibition, Care is a relationship, UNSW Library worked in collaboration with Black Dog Institute and SPHERE to host a series of 3 workshops facilitated by artist-in-residence, Michele Elliot, that explored ideas of care and caregiving through craft. Work created in the sessions formed part of the collaborative artwork A Cloak of Care that evolved throughout the exhibition. In addition, there was a dedicated makerspace set up in the gallery where students could drop-in and participate at any time during Library opening hours.
